2019 BMW 3 Series Concept Reveal News
The 2019 BMW 3 Series has been completely redesigned for the 2019 model year, and these images are available for the new compact luxury sedan.
While the camouflage prototype is not exactly revealing, all 2019 BMW 3 Series panels are still present and explained. At the front is this classic BMW fascia, with a grille and sports lines (refined). A long, extended grip adds to the low, wide position, and the LED headlamps seem to recede toward the wings, adding even more visual width. The front overhang is short. Around the rear, the taillights protrude with a circular LED element, echoing the wide separation in the headlights. As expected, a shot from the back also reveals a double-style escape.
As noted in the exterior section, the extended wheelbase will create more cabin space, especially for rear-seat passengers. Completing this will be the latest infotainment equipment available. Additional smart phone integration options, a home screen and a large touch screen are all safe bets, the iDrive vehicle control system of the 2019 BMW 3 Series. Digital instrumentation will be used behind the wheel, and voice recognition functions will be standard. If BMW will be able to offer remains to be seen, but in any case, the different parts of semi-autonomous cars without the technology of the driver is sure to come for the ride. Automatic parking, lane assist, auto braking and adaptive cruise control are already there, and will only disappear if something more complete replaces them. Other updates will include a quieter interior and the usual amount of high quality details and exclusive materials, especially with the right options.
It is said that the four-cylinder gasoline engines of the 2019 BMW 3 Series move to the new car unchanged, with more or fewer horses. The base models should continue to resist the 320i plate and are based on a 2.0-liter turbocharged line with four horses of about 180 horsepower, while the 330i models will pack about 250 ponies. The rear drive train will be standard, all-wheel-drive models with the usual xDrive badge. The 340i six-cylinder can give way to more demanding M340i M performance models with around 350 horsepower, which will allow the 3 Series to properly battle the Audi S4 and Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG. The 330th plug-in hybrid is expected to see updates that will improve in the current 14-mile EPA driving range of the current model. In addition, BMW is expected to introduce a fully electric version of the new 2019 BMW 3 Series. The model will go directly to the Tesla Model 3, and is expected to have more than 200 miles of range. All levels of equipment in the 2019 BMW 3 Series will use an eight-speed automatic transmission; it is possible that the manual transmission does not reach America. On the other side of the pond, BMW is ready to once again offer a Series 3 driven by the turbocharged three-cylinder Mini Cooper. We do not expect to see this engine under the hoods of the USA. UU models 3 series attached.
Even with all this new material, the 2019 BMW 3 Series cannot really afford to increase the suggested price if it wants to remain competitive. As a result, prices will be more likely to remain static, starting at around $ 34,000 for a basic sedan model with a 2.0-liter turbocharged and RWD four-cylinder engine. From there, the price rises quickly to intervene, with more power, more cylinders, four-wheel drive and different body styles. Mid-range equipment levels will start around $ 45,000.
