2019 BMW Z4 Concept Reveal News
After more than a year of rumors, the concept of the next 2019 BMW Z4 was finally launched a few days ago. Although this is not the production vehicle, it definitely seems more or less ready to go to the assembly line. BMW has also decided to reveal some really interesting details about the upcoming Z4. It seems that the car will be a little more impressive than previously thought with more engine options and a much better design than expected. There are still some unknown factors, but even so, the Z4 definitely looks impressive.
Visually, the concept shows that the new 2019 BMW Z4 will arrive with a sportier appearance than the current model, which focuses more on luxury than on athletics. This is evident in their hard wrinkles on their bodies, the rising lines of the characters, the flared hindquarters, their humps behind the seats and their shortened cantilevers. It also shows its sportiest form are the larger air intakes on the front bumper, the heat exhausts behind the front wheels and the air vents on the rear bumper.
Inside, the track and field continues with a more driver-centric cockpit with all the main controls geared towards the driver and a minimalist approach to its buttons and switches. The concept 2019 BMW Z4 also shows that BMW plans to use screens rather than analogue meters because it has screens on which the meters are usually installed.
It has been confirmed that the 2019 BMW Z4 has a number of different engines. The base model will be called S20i and should be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine that delivers about 180 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. Higher in the range should be the S30i with the same engine but this time offering more than 250 horsepower and over 260 lb-ft of torque. Both are expected with a 6-speed manual or with an 8-speed automatic. A 3.0-liter line of six or two sport turbochargers will be the option.
Although there is no official release date for the 2019 BMW Z4, we expect it to come in the middle of 2019. It is too far to seriously consider prices for the moment, but it will be probably a little higher than the current range of $ 50,695 to $ 67,345 (destination fees included).
