We hope the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado will be completely overhauled and include redesign and re-engineering. The update will come six years after the launch of Silverado, the current third generation, marking the fourth generation of the Silverado plate.
The camouflaged prototype of the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is quite impressive. The truck has been seen recently, and the changes seem to be substantial compared to the current model. At the front, the daytime running lights moved down to the lighthouses. It also seems to claim a considerably larger grid than before. Most of the cabin is unfortunately hidden, but it seems to be at least similar to the smaller Colorado. The bed is new, however. Although camouflaged, we can see large wheel arches and a brand new bed design. The latter will also be one of GM’s newest innovations. The tailgate will be modular and will open as a closed passage. This would be a significant improvement over the supply of its main competitor and should differentiate it from the competition.
The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado cockpit is still a secret, but it is likely to borrow design elements from the Suburban and the current truck. We anticipate improvements in internal materials, and we should also offer more features than before. Things like an automatic trailer steering system or even a 360 degree camera will probably be available on most models.
2019 Chevrolet Silverado powertrain enhancements, including: EcoTec3 naturally aspirated gasoline engine V-6 and V-8 is likely to remain, as a hybrid e-Assist electric model with a turbocharged six-cylinder, six-cylinder turbo diesel engine is possible and all new transmissions, probably made up of the new GM 10-speed transmission family were developed jointly with Ford.
We hope the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is unveiled at the Detroit auto show next January 2018 sales starting this summer. Prices should start from around $ 28,880 for the base model and $ 60,000 for the high-end option, High Country.
