Lexus engineers have been busier than ever in testing a new car on the Nurburgring. Recently, a camouflaged version of the upcoming 2019 Lexus RC F prototype was seen cornering, with subtle changes from the previous model, which may indicate that this update is little more than a facelift.
In addition, the 2019 Lexus RC F is equipped with an active rear spoiler that automatically rises to a speed greater than 80 km / h, then returns if the speedometer reads less than 40 km / h. For this coupe, only three 19-inch forged wheel options have been developed, and its polishing is done manually up to the High Plus model.
The 2019 Lexus RC F interior of the car replicates the classic coupe, but then sets a new steering wheel, sport seats, which are available in five different versions, upholstered in leather with stitching and contrasting pedals. The dashboard is adjustable, allowing you to choose one of the many ways to display updated information.
For now, the latest 2019 Lexus RC F seems to be an elegant and sophisticated cruiser with many high performance features. Although the weight is quite high at around 3,958 pounds, it certainly does not seem too heavy on the road. While we can only speculate on the powertrain for the 2019 version, the current 2019 Lexus RC F power comes from a 5.0-liter V8 engine capable of generating 398 lb-ft of torque and 467 horsepower. Alternatively, the standard C63 coupe has about 479 in torque and 469 horsepower.
The price of the updated 2019 Lexus RC F is expected to be around 100,000 dollars, and will be competitive models such as the BMW M4 Coupe and the Audi RS5. US auto sales will begin this fall.
